C+P [design.2010]
L’elemento dominante del progetto C+P (Calice + Patena) è il passaggio che si ha dal quadrato al cerchio con un movimento dal basso verso l’alto nel calice e dall’alto verso il basso nella patena. Così si è voluto rendere il mistero della transustanziazione nel calice e della missione della Trinità verso l’uomo nella patena. Sulla base quadrata del calice e sul quadrato della patena i segni dell’uva e della spiga.
a. Il quadrato: simbolo geometrico che esprime l’orientamento dell’uomo nello spazio. Immagine del cosmo a misura di uomo. Indica la terra e l’uomo.
b. Il cerchio: simbolo geometrico che rappresenta la forma più perfetta. Non ha inizio né fine, né direzione, né orientamento. Rappresenta Dio e il cielo.
Sia il calice che la patena hanno tenuto conto della Riforma Liturgica e del carattere di “nobile semplicità” menzionato. Entrambe evidenziano in pianta un disegno quadrato che modificandosi raggiunge la perfezione del cerchio. Nel calice, questa trasformazione avviene in senso verticale tramite una forma alta e slanciata, nella patena il passaggio dal quadrato al cerchio è orizzontale.
Il calice e la patena sono realizzati in argento 800 con finitura dorata. E’ possibile, comunque, tramite l’intervento di incisione la personalizzazione dei simboli sul calice e sulla patena.

The dominant element of design C+P (Chalice + Paten) is the step from square to circle with a movement from bottom to top in the chalice and the paten from the top to down. So we wanted to make the mystery of transubstantiation in the chalice and the mission of the Trinity to the man on the paten. b. The circle geometric symbol that represents the most perfect form. It has no beginning or end, or direction, or orientation. Represents God and heaven.
Both the chalice that held the paten into account the liturgical reform and the character of "noble simplicity" mentioned. Both show the plant in a square design that changes to reach the perfection of the circle. In the glass, this transformation occurs vertically through a form high and slender, the paten, the transition from square to circle is horizontal.
The chalice and paten are made of 800 silver with golden finish. Is possible, however, through the intervention of the personalization of the symbols engraved on the chalice and paten.
