Nel progetto di recupero di questo edificio, legato in passato allo sfruttamento agricolo del territorio, è stato importante e di fondamentale importanza aver tenuto conto dei cambiamenti dell'intorno. Percorrendo in salita il viale d'ingresso del podere, realizzato affiancando alberi d'ulivo e cespugli sempreverdi, con un panorama che abbraccia contemporaneamente le splendide colline tra Perugia ed Assisi, vicino a borghi medievali come Cibottola, S. Apollinare, Spina, si entra nella grande casa colonica. Attorno al volume della casa, situata su un terrazzamento naturale del terreno, è possibile abbandonarsi ad una vita rilassata e tranquilla, godendo delle meraviglie della splendida campagna umbra. Quindi oltre all'intervento di restauro della struttura, è stato creato appositamente un giardino di ampio respiro, da cui si diramano percorsi successivi, tra viottoli nel verde e sentieri lastricati che indirizzano lo sguardo verso le attività ricreative, di cui campi da gioco ed una piscina scoperta.Il progetto di restauro ha agito nel pieno rispetto del luogo, della storia, dei materiali originari.
